About this listen

It all starts with a cat-and-mouse chase to the death in a Baltimore funfair: the Jackal, Bourne's age-old antagonist, is back, and Bourne is forced from his idyllic retirement with his wife and children to confront his enemy. In Europe, Russia, and America, there are men and women whose lust for power is disguised by their positions and respectability. Their aim: to gain control at the highest level, to avenge, to destroy.

Jason Bourne has been the assassin before: now he longs for peace with his family, but the threat of the Jackal puts in jeopardy all possibility of peace....

Bourne & Delta 3.0

A psychological thriller going deep into the psyche of David Webb. A man deeply suffering, chasing the ghost of past trauma through Europe. Once again struggling to contain the personalities which demand attention. Poor Marie

Phenomenal series

You couldn't be disappointed if you downloaded and listened to all 3 of these books! The twists and turns just kept coming... to the point of frustration at times I'll admit but it all comes together in the end. Narration was nothing short of spectacular either.

A riveting story with unfortunate flaws

A riveting story, with some great action sequences. Bourne-lovers will find enjoyment in this novel.
I felt that the ending was underwhelming after the buildup of the Bourne-Carlos enmity from the first instalment. The first novel raised the idea that Carlos’s face—his true identity—was someone recognisable in the public sphere, but this thread was forgotten in the third novel, which was a letdown.
Also the setting of the final conflict in Novgorod was like a spy Disneyland—bizarre rather than gritty realism in the world.
Whoever advised the narrator on the French pronunciations should be sacked—some of it wasn’t only accented with English, but just plain wrong.
Still, if you’ve read the first two Bourne instalments, do finish off this great trilogy!

Too long, story repetative

"and then it happened" should be the title of this book. the twists and turns were out of character with previous. More like a contractual obligation than anything else.

Jason Bourne

Hard work repetitive corny one liners , story line great far too long though, worth a read nonetheless
