the ending of that book was heart breaking! I rarely come to tears while listening or reading books but this had me shedding them.

Love Story
The books starts off slow but holy damn! Worthy the perseverance! Only issue with the performance is how the narrator says didn’t 😤

Not what I expected
When I first started listening I wasn't sure what the hype was about BUT then out of nowhere the story grabbed me and I couldn't stop listening!! This is my number 1 book of the year - cannot wait for more of this story!

Speechless, I thought that fourth wing was great. But holy cow this is great, you fall in love with the characters straight and the world building is also amazing

Wish they had hired someone else :(
The story is good but the narrator really is not. This could have been soo good if they had just hired someone who could actually do voice variation! Every character has the same voice big scary evil dudes sound the same as the main female character and it’s so frustrating:( was really hoping they changed for book two but was disappointed! Will keep listening for the story but it’s a real shame

Badass FMC
I liked that the FMC was older, skilled and a true warrior. This book was definitely more about character development and relationships and setting up from a bigger plot.
only thing that could have made it better would be a make voice actor for Liam's chapters. however the voice actor did a great job at not making the make voices cringe.

love the FMC
great story, loved the universe and characters created, real enemies to lovers, fights, blood and damage. not this oh I was just joking...
Also loved the voice actor for these books definitely made it enjoyable.

Story good. Narration? No…
The story is great but tbh I just wasn’t a fan of the narrators voice for this book. Her voice doesn’t suit the villain character she’s trying to portray. I think it would be better to physically read or find a narrator with a voice that doesn’t sound like that.
