Publisher's Summary
Frankie Rose is desperate for love. Or a relationship. Or just a date with a semi-normal person will do. It’s not that she hasn’t tried; her string of crazy dates are well-documented on her blog. So, inspired by her job at The Little Brunswick Street Bookshop, Frankie decides to take fate into her own hands and embarks on the ultimate love experiment. Her plan? Plant her favourite books on trains inscribed with her contact details in a bid to lure the sophisticated, charming and well-read man of her dreams. Enter Sunny, and one spontaneous kiss later, Frankie begins to fall for him. But there’s just one problem – Frankie is strictly a Jane Austen kind of gal, and Sunny is really into Young Adult. Like, really.

A unique book
What I enjoyed the most about this book was looking up all the authors and other books. I am happy to say that more than half I have read and I look forward to reading the rest. Go Young Adults books, you are making an impact and I am proud to read them all.

If you like Liane Moriarty, you'll enjoy this!
Light-hearted, whimsical and funny! Actually, the story reminded me a bit of Brigitte Jones's Diary except the protagonist could be played by someone drop dead gorgeous of this were made into a film...

Story great, narrator less so.
I really enjoyed the story, though it did take me a bit of effort to get past the narrator. At first I couldn’t pick what she reminded me of. Then I realised that her voice and tone reminds me of Siri (of Apple IPhone fame). I then felt like the whole book was being narrated to me from my phone by Siri. It was quite off putting, which is unfortunate as the story was an enjoyable one.

Jane Austen meets YA!
Wow! As a young adult myself, I first read this and while laughing through the hilarious parts, it occurred to me that my uncle would also like to read it, being a busy man, I knew he'd take way too long to get to it though. I ended up getting the audio book and loving it once again despite the readers voices being different than my head and my uncle enjoyed it too, Sunny being his favourite and while I enjoyed Frankie, I found Cat's insanity particularly thrilling. We both loved the idea of leaving books in random places fascinating and definitely not littering, lol...

a love story but not a bad one. I laughed, I "aww"d, I got a lot of new book references. the narrator is perfect between animated, but not too animated.

Liked the idea more than the story
I liked the book references, will take note to read some of them. I liked the idea of the book experiment as the story plot, but it didn't have as much a role in the story as I'd hoped. I wasn't a fan of the Sunny character.

Yes please
loved it! the narrarator was awesome (despite sounding a little sick with the cold in a few parts). The book was funny and romantic with a great amount of the good old land down under ♡ I would definitely listen to this again.
