Story still great but miss original narrator

As usual the overall story did not disappoint. This series continues to be entertaining. However, it is far less entertaining with the new narration. Even happy moments sounded ominous. The new narration makes the book disturbing in places that should be read as light hearted. While the voice of Aunt Ramona is excellent, several others, such as Nixie, are difficult to distinguish from other voices. I miss the original narrator. I do hope the authors tested this audiobook on audiences before recording the next one. With any luck, the narrator will have taken feedback and made adjustments accordingly for the next book. There is promising potential with proper direction. Here’s hoping.
