About this listen
Based on face-to-face interviews with over 20 self-made billionaires
There are thousands of books on millionaire thinking. The knowledge they offer isn't enough to get you to the highest ranks of wealth. The richest people of our times are billionaires. Only one in five million world citizens belongs to this group. Billionaires are extremely rare, and their mindset differs hugely from that of ordinary millionaires.
The Billion Dollar Secret offers firsthand knowledge of billionaire entrepreneurs told in their own words. Never before has someone interviewed 20-plus self-made billionaires across the world for a book project. The author worked for years with some of the very best entrepreneurs on the planet and distilled their secrets into 20 mental principles that enabled them to start from zero and create billions of dollars in value during one life span.
This book gives you the road map to follow their path to extreme wealth and success.

Great !
I am thoroughly enjoying this book
It provides so much insight and shows that billionaires are really just like you and me with a few extra behavioural differences that you can adopt or cut out some non efficiencies in your life
The reading is great , I like that the reader changes his voice to sound like different people it’s pretty cool !
I don’t mind that there are no women entrepreneurs mentioned as in the other comment, I think that’s a pretty silly thing to worry about, it might just be the case that women billionaires didn’t agree to his interview?
You don’t have to completely agree on what they’re teaching, this books shows that even amongst billionaires they are all different with different ways of operating
The only thing I didn’t agree to was that he says “billionaires are not intelligent, they are adventurous” I believe you need to be both
It contradicts the fact that they read, get mentored have to think strategically and make smart decisions for their businesses so that part I found odd. All in all amazing book highly recommend

Some good insights to take home
I found some good insights however overall the book is repetitive and solely focussed on men.
The guy who narrates - his voice is a bit annoying. Towards the end it talks about more male billionaires and whom they admire - this could have been explained better.
He also keeps mentioning #milliondollargoldnuggets which again is marketing extreme.

I felt as if I knew the interviewees personally
A bit of a long read but some highly useful content within. I hadn’t heard of a lot of the entrepreneurs and names featured but after hearing of their success and stories on how they built their wealth I felt as if I knew them personally. Credit to the author for excellent storytelling and deep diving!
