About this listen

Rape. Murder. Brain-eating.

Never before has a work of fiction dared to delve so deeply into the realms of perversion, sexual dementia, and bad taste...

Who is he? What is he? An inbred homicidal pervert? A supernatural psychopath? Who or whatever he is, he's on a roll now, raging out of the Virginia backwoods and leaving in his wake a trail of blood, guts, and disgust far beyond the limits of your reckoning.

JERRICA...

Sex-addict, drug-addict - a woman so far out of control she would make Linda Lovelace look like a schoolmarm. And little does she know, The Bighead is coming... for her.

THE ABBEY...

Closed for years, Wroxeter Abbey is back in business, haunted by two nuns... from hell. Erotopathic, clinically demented, gross beyond belief. To the faithful priest, Father Alexander, they will do things that absolutely beggar description...

Very full on

This book is a lot, as in its story is secondary to its aggressively disturbing nature. Which is why its great, sitting and listening to this in public makes you feel as if you are doing something extremely illegal. Good story and well fleshed out characters

Loved it! Brutal Story Telling, Great Characters

Amazing work of art from Lee. Narration by Michael T Bradley was so spot on, almost like his voice was made to bring the Bighead to life. Brilliant pacing throughout the novel. The characters were believable, well thought out and..felt real for me. A must read! Not for the faint-hearted!!!

Certainly not for me.

Ok, so just because it turns out I'm squeamish doesn't necessarily mean this is a bad book. I think probably, for what it is, and what its meant to be its perfectly satisfactory.
It's just not appealing to me.
Spoilers:
There is quite a bit of moderately elaborated sexual violence, including of a 14 year old, and an older lady with a colostomy bag. The main character, Big head, also happens to have fairly generous proportions, and is apt to disembowel women unfortunate enough to fall into his clutches. Characters were interesting enough i suppose, but i didnt get very far. I dunno. I should have heeded the warnings.
