Publisher's Summary

An unthinkable tragedy forever changes a group of teens and turns family against family in this edge-of-your-seat thriller that begs to be heard in one sitting.

Best friends Lindsey, Kendra, and Dani endure every parent’s nightmare when a tragic accident befalls their teenage boys, leaving one dead, another in a coma, and a third too traumatized to speak.

Reeling from the worst night of their lives, the three mothers plunge into a desperate investigation of the bizarre incident. How could something so horrible happen in their wealthy Southern California suburb?

They soon discover that the accident was just the beginning, and troubling discoveries lead to chilling questions: Do they really know their children? Do they even know each other? As more secrets surface, a fog of doubt and suspicion threatens to poison their families, their friendships, and the whole community.

With the illusion of happiness and safety long gone, these women must now confront the hazards of heartbreak, the consequences of jealousy, and the dangers of living double lives.

I don't give 5 stars often

This was great with the multiple narrators. It had a number of twists that kept me guessing, even the epilogue. I read it quickly because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I have enjoyed two books by this author now and will recommend her to my friends. Thanks for having these on Kindle Unlimited.

What a Brilliant Story.

This story about a group of grown up High School friends, who all live in the same neighbourhood

Aldo, in each other’s lives due to their grown up children also being friends, takes a tragic turn one night after a shooting.

This book take you through how each family deals with the aftermath.

One boy is dead, the other in a coma.

The third is so shattered by what he knows and witnessed, that he can barely function.

The parents, once all friends, begin to turn on each other as secrets, lies, and betrayal are discovered.

By the end , each couple will not only be trying to cope with trauma and tragedy, but also saving their marriages

So, so good, and excellent performance all round
Bravo!!!
