See rebus grow
The chronological order gives a potted life of rebus from a dc to a retired officer
A range of moods and the shortish length made perfect for a long commute

Perfect length
This was great. The stories seemed to be the perfect length for a commute of less than 1 hour. Long enough to provide detail and understand the characters, yet short enough to be punchy and engaging. Wish there were more.

Compilation
Short stories. Most of which I’ve read before in ‘A Good Hanging’ - bit like a compilation record, good to have them all in one place but you know you’ve also got them elsewhere
