Good again
A few minor inconsistencies but the story is as interesting and absorbing as the first book .The information around the religion and superstition s of the time are wonderful ly educational as is the political situation of the time.
A lovely story of jealousy, forgiveness and forever love . B ring on book 3.

Depressing
It was hard for me to continue reading after so much hate shown by the Parson, his daughter and villagers. It was depressing but I continued reading to see how it would end.
The narrator did a good job with the different characters' voices although I find the constant upward inflection at the end a bit annoying.
