Hard to put down!
Narration was fantastic, good character development and storyline kept one interested. Enjoyed the audio book, much more exciting than reading.

Great adventure read
A really good read. A modern adventure with lord of the flies undertones. I enjoyed the style of Garland’s writing.

Epic!!!
for those who like to travel on long journeys, especially alone, this story will more than likely resonate with you a lot. If you thought the film was good, the book is even better!!!

Didn’t want it to end!
I have always loved the movie but this is far, far better. Beautifully read and written. Some major plot differences between the book and the movie but it works much better. I really didn’t want it to end, will read again soon

Great book
yes, the movie is more realistic and in some aspects more likeable. But I love how well the main character is developed, but there's certainly some cringe moments.
