Publisher's Summary

A jock tutor and a determined sorority girl in this fun and sexy college sports romance.

Blair

What's the probability of insulting the one guy on campus I need to help me pass statistics? If I knew, I wouldn't be standing in front of Wes Reynolds begging him to tutor me.

Basketball player, sexy, arrogant, always sleeping through class...these are the things I knew about him. What I didn't know is that he is a seriously smart jock.

Wes

What's the best way to get rid of the peppy and unrelenting girl that keeps asking me to tutor her? If I knew, I wouldn't be staring at her tan legs and attempting to teach her statistics.

Sorority girl who's fine as hell, determined, and a ball buster...these are the things I knew about her. What I didn't know is that she is all the things I didn't realize I wanted or needed.

Or that one semester with her would change everything.

love love

This story is quirky from Blair's side of things and like Wes says, she's got guts. not one misunderstanding but 2 more and the girl doesn't lose heart.
Smart jock and figuring ways to get him to tutor you while also dealing with a side sadness of missing a best friend who fears venturing out after an accident makes for a well balanced read.
plus Jason's voice is, oh my goooood

NA college romance

I Just had to purchase the audible version of The Assist when I saw that Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon were the narrators. All of the 4 currently available books in the series have great narrators, so I've gone back to the start to listen to them in order (already read the first 2).

The Assist is a NA college romance, with a hot AND smart jock as one of the main characters. I liked Wes right from the start - Blair makes some incorrect assumptions about him based purely on her beliefs that he's a hot jock and to get good grades surely he has had help. Nope - he's just super smart!

The second half of the storyline was fairly predictable, but I liked all the characters enough that overall that wasn't an issue. Jason Clarke is a favourite narrator to listen to, and my appreciation of Erin Mallon's performances have increased the more I listen to her. I'm looking forward to listening to The Fadeaway (Teddy Hamilton!), the next book in the series.
