What a Thief indeed! Telium the FMC stole my heart and soul within the first few chapters of this read. It’s official I want to be her when I grow up. What a fierce, stunning and beautifully well developed character! Gah I’m in love. This story was epic in its intensity, the plot twists were just divine, it was one of the most exciting and thrilling reads of the year so far for me. The world was just exquisite, I loved learning about the thief’s and their gifts. So unique and creative. My mind is still whirring with all the possibilities and awesomeness in this read! I would’ve like a little more spice cos I’m a greedy girl, but overall a sensational read! High high highly like high fae level awesomeness! Definitely recommend! Cannot wait for the next one with this cliffy!

Exceptional in every way
The story is a whirlwind of old school fantasy mixed with breathtaking performance of the narrator who was able to bring it to life. This is my second time reading, first time listening to this story and it was even better the second time. You pick up on sim many Easter eggs that you miss the first time 🤯 I can’t wait for the second book

Needed a lot more editing and TLC
I feel so bad writing this review, but this book needed so much more editing than it clearly got. Its structure is the most agonising part of the book but the flat characters, poor world building and nonsense magic system don't help it. The author clearly has a lot of potential and has some interesting ideas, but this really needed more revisions before it was ready for publishing. I'm really surprised just how bad the editing was considering that this book is not self published. The structure was confusing but the grammar was also atrocious, so much that it came across in the audiobook. With a better editor and more revisions this book could have been great, but instead it was truly difficult to finish.
