Great book for puppy owners and especially those considering adopting a puppy.

I love this book. I would have read it, but I am time poor at the moment and it was easier to listen to it. The reader’s voice is excellent for this book. The book communicates so much philosophy and practical tips about how best to raise your puppy. I wish I had bought it before buying a puppy as now I am playing catch-up with training our dog. Dog training is so much more complicated and time-consuming than most people realise or talk about. This book sets out the parameters for achieving a long-lasting friendship with a dog that is a joy to be around. I hope I get there.

Well written but not sure about shaking your dog

It's a good and passionately written/ read book but it is very punishment based training.

They don't have my dog....

look they train German Shepherds, I get they are hard, but not for training every dog. my Doberman looked at me like I was an idiot and proceeded to continue with his ordinary behaviour. a very basic book with some cool stories thrown in. just not a dog training book for the broader audience.
