About this listen
You may be surprised to learn that according to this best seller book by top Australian property experts Ben Kingsley and Bryce Holdaway, you don’t need to accumulate a 10+ property portfolio to create a $2,000 passive income in your retirement. Nor will you need to spend more than 10 hours a week managing your portfolio when you have everything in place.
Sound easy?
Well, that’s why it’s the "armchair" guide.
Of course, when you’ve started your early retirement and are enjoying this level of passive income, you’ll probably spend your time travelling, having fun with family and friends, and enjoying your sports and hobbies rather than sitting in your armchair!
The Armchair Guide to Property Investing is a comprehensive book. Listeners are given all the fundamentals about investing, money, and risk management, as well as the tools to get them started in the first two parts of the book. In the third and final part, the authors share the 18 investment strategies that, in their vast experience, have worked for thousands of their clients - and themselves - over the years.
The last chapter discloses six case studies where you will discover how six very different investors - a young single, a couple who started investing early, a couple who left it a bit late (luckily it’s rarely too late), a single parent, and a couple with no kids - all built portfolios that will deliver $2,000 income in their retirement. And it’s written in plain English and in a friendly style that makes it an easy audiobook to listen to.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Fantastically detailed and well done!
Loved this book. The guys provide a real-life no BS explanation as to how to get in to the property game realistically, without too much risk and advise how to manage expectations and plan to achieve your plan. Great “down to earth” read!

Not a bad book; very similar to their podcast
Not a bad listen/read. Follows a very similar tangent to their podcast which I also enjoyed. Shame the book doesn’t explain much else in-depth but I suppose this would defeat the purpose of needing to employ BA’s and investment savvy property advisors. All in all, not bad but really just went into slightly more detail to their podcast which they could have done there instead of releasing a book.

No supplemental pdf
the whole audio book refers to a supplemental pdf and that's where the actual strategies are. I don't believe it's attached and I've looked online and emailed them all unsuccessfully to find them. with this I think the book would be really good!

Honest review
A bit of an up sell for the authors own agenda, lots of cheap advice but no real data to back it up. I would recommend against listening to this book as your only place of information. There are a few golden nuggets of advice in this book. But better guided advice elsewhere.

Basic
Didn't really like this book, found it very basic and got no real value from it and I wouldn't class myself as being knowledgeable about property investing. Mostly fluff and filler in my opinion
