About this listen
Adapted from the hilarious screenplay!
When Mark, a 20-something software developer, makes a mistake that compromises his relationship with the girl of his dreams, he’s surprised when he wins her back with an open and honest apology letter. After hearing the news, Bob, his best friend and fellow coder, begins to speculate that the email Mark wrote might actually contain a different kind of secret code, one that can hack human emotions. This leads the pair to anonymously sell their letters to their fellow verbally challenged brethren who just can’t seem to find the right words to say at the right times.
Before long, their site, WriteIt4Me.com, has taken off and they have more money than they know what to do with. Their girlfriends adore them, their business is successful, and they get to eat at their favorite restaurant, like, a lot. They are living the high life, but when people start to wonder who is behind these mysterious letters that can mend your broken relationship, get you laid, or even eulogize your dearly departed Aunt Millie at her funeral, their digital alter-egos start to threaten their very real lives. When a jealous contractor hacks the site and crosses the letters, chaos ensues and it’s all uploaded to YouTube for the world to see.
Find out what happens in this whimsical tale of romance, hacking, and Bitcoin.
