About this listen

Samuel Abraham was a young man who had been put upon by his family to help some Amish friends from another community on the other side of the local Town. The daughter (Mary Whittmer) was a little younger than Samuel and was not well, needing treatment in the town at the hospital every other day. Samuel had been asked to travel to the other community and take Mary to her appointments in the family buggy. After initial dislike of each other, they came to have lengthy conversations about life and faith, and their affection for each other grew daily. They prayed to Gott for advice and guidance and eventually confessed their love for one another, but for days on end were too scared to tell their families. Would Mary be okay? Would the families allow their relationship to blossom? They turned to Gott for the answers.
