Great book!

Really enjoyed this book! I’ve been in a book slump for a while. It hit every mark, an intelligent, witty but broken heroine who has the grace a heroine needs. A worthy protective hero who has his moments of arrogance and stupidity for not being open and transparent, a hero who realises his mistakes and shows his remorse by grovelling….and offcourse a secret baby is a must (all babies welcome in my perfect book)…. Heartbreaking adversity with a multitude of obstacles, betrayal with pure intentions, most of all redemption… ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ only side note is I would have liked to see some of the entitled selfish people who caused so much devastation to an innocent get their comeuppance but if there is another book maybe we’ll get more insight. So tired of books with blatantly stupid heroines, and alphaholes who have no true remorse and don’t have to properly grovel, this was a really nice change of pace.
