About this listen

New York Times best-seller

Do you wonder why some people look and feel younger than their actual age, while others appear older than they really are? Do you believe the way you age is genetically predetermined? Do you believe your aging destiny is inherited on the day you're conceived? Do you feel helpless about aging, as if there's nothing you can do about it?

You don't have to buy into the myths about aging. This book is going to empower you with good news as Dr. Joseph Chang reveals that the destiny of your genes is not fixed - you can positively impact the way you age from this day forward. He will share new scientific insights to help you look and feel younger than your birthday suggests!

Dr. Chang explains how, using gene expression science to decode aging processes, he and collaborators have been able to identify, target, and reset important aging-related genes to a more youthful state and positively influence the way we age. He presents compelling evidence and easy-to-follow steps for you and everyone in your family to begin living younger, longer.

The WORSE audiobook / book I've ever heard/read

Avoid this "book" at all costs! It is nothing but a prolonged, agonizing and extremely poorly written sales tripe of a marketing book for a dodgy multi level marketing company. Yes you'd be PAYING THEM to tell you to buy their crap.

The amount of bragging is cringe-worthy. And the saddest part is he never actually tells you what the "science" is, other than buy ageloc stuff and look after yourself. The whole book is written like a sleazy sales pitch. Anyone who falls for it has to be a moron. Listening to it actually pissed me off, I have never gotten angry from a book before!

A quick Google search and you'll find that ageloc gene based products are BS.

Experts in the science of aging deride Nu Skin’s claims. “If someone tells you they know what the mechanism of aging is, they are trying to kid you,” says University of Michigan Medical School professor Richard Miller, who heads a team evaluating anti-aging drugs and nutritional supplements for the National Institute on Aging. (Nu Skin was forced to remove references to a “collaboration” with a Stanford professor after he protested; he calls its ageLOC claims “science fiction.”)– Source Fortune.com

NuSkin is the company behind ageloc, which has been sued/fined/forced to retract multiple times by the Federal Trade Commission and even by the Chinese government for deceptive advertising, misleading conduct or making false claims on their products and payout system! Essentially they are a giant pyramid scheme and this book is trying to sell you rubbish.

If you compare one of their ageloc product ingredients list to other companies, you'll find that they are no different to other products on the market. Distributors are being sold normal products at excessively marked up prices.

This kind of shameless promotion makes me mad! How dare they sell a horrible sales pitch disguised as a book on general aging!
