About this listen
The funny, uplifting second novel from Olivia Beirne for fans of Sophie Kinsella, Katie Marsh, ZoëFolbigg and Marian Keyes.
What would you do if you received a love letter that wasn't meant for you?
Bea's not sure where her confidence went. She's become so dependent on her routine, she seems to have fallen out of everyone else's.
So when a mysterious battered envelope lands on her doormat, Bea wonders if her whole world is about to change.
It isn't addressed to her, but it could be - if you squinted....

"One of the most hilarious books I have read for a very long time. Olivia writes with great warmth and wit - a fantastically funny debut." (Emma Cooper, author of The Songs of Us)

Connected to life story
This is a great listen. The book is a light read with a gentle humor. I enjoyed the readers style and accents for individual characters.

Bland and predictable
This one was a struggle. The romance was pretty non-existent, the plot was bland and the outcome was totally predictable. I finished only because it was playing in the background while I was doing something else. As for the narrator, it wasn't bad for the most part, but the narrators polish accent was really not good and ruined the story whenever I heard it and for that reason I didn't enjoy the performance. I would, however, give the narrator another go in a different book.
