Surprisingly fabulous!
It started out a bit same, same as many books in the genre but it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the characters and become their biggest cheerleader. The chemistry is 🔥🥵 and the love story beautiful. My first Lauren Blakely read but definitely won’t be my last.

Loose story line for lots of steam
I mean I guess if you’re looking for steam then this is your book. The story line was really just thrown in there as a pause between scenes. Not terrible but needed more substance.

Loved it
A beautifully written tale. Light, sweet, full of wot and humour. A true feel good story. tithe narrators did an an excellent job, especially Jacob. Got a big one crush on Jacob❤️🤎

A Lovely Rom-Com!
Another good story by Lauren Blakely! A fling to co-workers to friends then to lovers story. The MCs have great chemistry and the narrators did well to brings the characters to life.

I had a dream about mirrors last night. So worth it.
So, I didn't know this was book 4 walking into this. this is my first taste of Lauren Blakely. I would recommend this book to my Mum. It's light, it's fluffy and is definitely an escape from reality (especially the introduction offering a happily ever after). Can't wait to read more!

This book is a funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. No third act break up. It's just a wholesome spicy romance book. I look forward to reading more.

the lightness
It is quite funny, also it did not feel rushed of forced. I enjoyed it, I have had trouble enjoying romance books the last year and the lightness of this may me hopeful.

No plot arc
This was a disappointing read. It felt cheap. There was no real plot arc and the characters didn’t seem authentic. There was a lot of “telling” of actions and descriptions rather than “showing” of it through writing. The steamy scenes lacked build up and anticipation.. Not my kind of book but others may like it.
