About this listen
Artificial intelligence is transforming every industry, but if you want to win with AI, you have to put it first on your priority list.
AI-First companies are the only trillion-dollar companies, and soon they will dominate even more industries, more definitively than ever before. These companies succeed by design -they collect valuable data from day one and use it to train predictive models that automate core functions. As a result, they learn faster and outpace the competition in the process. Thankfully, you don't need a PhD to learn how to win with AI.
In The AI-First Company, internationally-renowned start-up investor Ash Fontana offers an executable guide for applying AI to business problems. It's a playbook made for real companies, with real budgets, that need strategies and tactics to effectively implement AI. Whether you're a new online retailer or a Fortune 500 company, Fontana will teach you how to:
- Identify the most valuable data
- Build the teams that build AI
- Integrate AI with existing processes and keep it in check
- Measure and communicate its effectiveness
- Reinvest the profits from automation to compound competitive advantage
If the last 50 years were about getting AI to work in the lab, the next 50 years will be about getting AI to work for people, businesses, and society. It's not about building the right software - it's about building the right AI. The AI-First Company is your guide to winning with artificial intelligence.

Practical, accessible and actionable.
The audio-book is practical, accessible and actionable. The timing was ideal as we are building the data team for our second startup. I asked my CTO to read/listen to the book so we have more perspectives as founders. By the end of the audio-book, I could think about 3 experiments relevant to our clients and have a clear step-by-step process.

Great business primer on AI
Having been in and around AI conversations and technologies for sometime, I was looking for a more complete business-down explanation and discussion on AI, and fortunately I found this book.
I have finished the book with a clear understanding of the decisions and actions that need to be made across all levels of an organisation to build strategy, and design programs of work associated with AI.
if you're looking for a solid base of knowledge around AI, then I recommend this book.

RoboCop
Seriously the worst book I have ever heard. You need to be RoboCop to understand anything. Not at all usefull for 99% of business owners. The guy talking is so boring and dull. 7 hours I will never get back, such a waste of time.
