Hmm

3.5 stars.
I don't know how I feel about this. So much of this could have been solved by a proper conversation, making the bulk of the conflict unnecessary.
Definitely a product of the decade it was released.
Slightly predictable with the he dates women who don't look like her and the hero thinks he's like his philandering father because he's his son, with zero self reflection until the last minute.
And, I mean, who leaves their lover asleep without a note to say they'd be coming back?
She didn't even call him out on leaving her and letting her think he'd abandoned her.
It's also weird to listen to an entire romance narrated by a man. Usually it's a woman, or a mixture of the two. It threw me off.
