Publisher's Summary

Psychologist Margot Scott has a picture-perfect life: a nice house in the suburbs, a husband, two children and a successful career.

On a warm spring morning Margot approaches one of her clients on a busy train platform. He is looking down at his phone, with his duffel bag in hand as the train approaches. That’s when she slams into his back and he falls in front of the train.

Margot’s clients all lie to her, but one lie cost her family and freedom.

A fast-paced psychological thriller for fans of The Silent Patient.

Surprised

When this first started I thought I probably wouldn’t get to the end without swapping it but it did get better. The storyline was good. It has turned me off psychologists though. Margot was so frustrating, and broke every rule of patient/practitioner relationships. Once it got interesting I did enjoy it.

Good read with an unexpected ending!

My first audible book! I loved it. I usually guess pretty soon who is the criminal; not this time! Great story, good reading pace, very good reader.

Good story - excellently performed.

Good local Melbourne story. A few very minor questionable story line twists. Excellent voice performance and production.

Enjoyable enough

A lot of action packed in to a short story. Narrator did a good job. I didn't love it but it was enjoyable enough.

Excellent story, lots of twists

Loved it. Although I began thinking the scene setting was taking too long, I was wrong. Amd as an Australian I'm ashamed to admit I rarely read Aussie authors. J.P. Pomare along eith Aimee Horne's excellent rendition have changed my mind. I thoroughly recommend this thriller. I listened to it start to finish in one hit. Couldnt stop.

Oh dear 😐

All credit to the narrator who did an excellent job. The first part of the story is interesting and compelling, then it becomes cheesy and a huge let down. And then a smart ending. Real shame
