Required reading

Talk to Me is an excellent overview of the history, the technology, the state of the art and the future of voice computing. Its author, James Vlahos, has had deep engagement with voice and chat over a long time and is an excellent journalist and writer. James reads the book himself, and his tone and style created a really personal experience as I listened with earbuds. I loved it.
