Publisher's Summary

Popular. Powerful. Filthy rich.

Noah Hastings is everything I’m not.

Our worlds never should have collided, but when my long-lost father reappears, my life is flipped upside down. It turns out he’s ridiculously wealthy, and without warning, he plucks me from my simple life and throws me into a world of excess.

He’s sending me to the most elite boarding school in the country, where money and status mean everything. He gives me only one rule while I’m there—stay away from Noah Hastings.

It should be a simple request. Noah is the king of Weybridge Academy, the heir to an empire and a serial heartbreaker. I’m just the new girl who grew up waiting tables. I don’t fit into Noah’s world, and he could never be a part of mine.

There’s more to this boy than I expected though, and he seems just as drawn to me as I am to him.

But it’s not only our differences that stand between us—it's the secrets we keep.

Sweet Heartbreak is the first part of a three-book series following Isobel and Noah's story in the elite world of Weybridge Academy. Book one ends in a cliff-hanger.

Familiar Tropes Rule This Story

This story was your usual fair.
Poor girl find out out she’s the secret daughter was a rich Daddy.

Mother, salt of the earth hard worker, refuse to take ONE DIME from him.

Then a couple of months after finding out about his daughter, Matthew, conspires with his baby momma to have her study at a prestigious boarding school in a picturesque town.

As expected, daddy & daughter are not getting alone, but that fine, he’s a busy man and hardly around.
However after their first initial meeting he informs her she WILL attend the new school,
He has only two requests, give it a try, and stay away from one boy… Noah Hastings

Can you guess what direction this book is heading in yet?

This is pretty standard YA, “fish out of water “ bully romance fair,

As far as Isabelle is concerned, she is one of those girls that gets mad, then is all forgiving.

Her inner monologue are EPIC.

As far as a performance goes…

Was this narrator recording this in secret? In a cupboard?

Sometimes it was sooo quiet, I had to turn the volume up
