Good entertainment that leaves appetite for more
I enjoyed the world building and the performance of the narrator was great. If you like shows like "the boys" or "invincible", this is that type of universe, even though the story so far is a bit inferior. Still, I'll be here for the sequel. Good job to the author for making a villain angle work.

Not BAD, but I wouldn't want to spend more time with the core cast.
Now it's done I can safely say I hated all the characters, even if some of them can be sympathetic. I also can't help but think the last chapter revealed a story I'd rather have listened to. That said it was vaguely entertaining, the story isn't bad, but without connecting to the characters I can't help but feel ambivalent.

a very enjoyable book
I really enjoyed all the characters and the world building as well as how is treated people with powers, worth a listen.

Funny entertaining book. Great narration. Well constructed. Would love to see book 2. A good sci fi story overall.

Fun superhero drama with smarts
While I am not a big fan of superhero themed stories, this one grabbed my attention and ran with it. Interesting, believable and flawed characters, plot twists and well written action.
