A great first book of a duet

The first book in a duet, it had so much in it. Kage seemed unfeeling to Saxon while Saxon was determined to not be weak. I liked that Saxon showed such a backbone against her kidnappers. Kage fought his long-standing feelings for Saxon, even when he was forced to include her in his world.

There was the cliffhanger, of course, which was done well. I headed straight onto book 2.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible.
