About this listen

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Kylie Scott comes a new story in her Stage Dive series....

When the girl of your dreams is kind of a nightmare.

As head of security to Stage Dive, one of the biggest rock bands in the world, Sam Knowles has plenty of experience dealing with trouble. But spoiled brat Martha Nicholson just might be the worst thing he’s ever encountered. The beautiful troublemaker claims to have reformed, but Sam knows better than to think with what’s in his pants. Unfortunately, it’s not so easy to make his heart fall into line.

Martha’s had her sights on the seriously built bodyguard for years. Quiet and conservative, he’s not even remotely her type. So why the hell can’t she get him out of her mind? There’s more to her than the Louboutin wearing party-girl of previous years, however. Maybe it’s time to let him in on that fact and deal with this thing between them.

Redemption and love

It’s always good to catch up with all the guys and this time is no exception. This story will have you laughing out loud and falling for the guys all over again.

The Stage Dive story I didn't know I needed

I admit, I was not a fan of Martha through the Stage Dive series, she was selfish and a trouble maker, and I just wanted to slap the nasty out of her.

Kylie Scott has done a great job of redeeming her in my eyes, and at times I even felt sorry for her (I know, GASP, right?)

I enjoyed seeing all of the Stage Dive guys and their ladies (I still maintain that Mal is MINE!), and where they were at this stage in their lives.

Sam, oh Sam how I adore you, and I can understand why Martha tripped and fell right in love with the guy.

I enjoyed the narration, and found myself walking around my house with my headphones on so I could listen a little more (and too lazy to take headphones off and use Alexa lol)

Thank you Ms Scott for this novella - I didn't know I needed Martha's story until I started listening.

Waste of time

This book was boring. Also, very short. It was no where near as good as the rest if the series- what I would call a “why bother?”
It wasn’t funny, the female lead was shallow, the male a wimp (how did Sam end up being such a weak hero???)
Even Andi Arndt, the narrator, was obviously bored, as her performance was unusually bland.
Save your credit/cash. Books 1 and 2 were the best, with 2 really funny, so buy them instead, if you have not already.
