Really enjoyed this novella
Was a little slow at times, but definitely worth it. I hope to and I'm sure we will see more of Cara and Xan in the future!

Wonderfully Creepy
Wonderfully creepy in a way that the Expanse books haven't been since the 2nd book.

Fantastic as always
Both plot from the authors and performance from the reader are as fantastic as the rest of the series!

A thoughtful read
I found the metaphysical aspects of this story very interesting. Without giving anything anything away, there is a transformation of a character that takes away some key properties, rendering them a substrate. Also liked the way the whole language and culture of the protagonist's Earther parents wasn't really relevant to her because she was growing up on a new world and there were no stories about that.

Laconia
Intriguing little tale that left me aching to know more of Laconia, the planet, and theses strange dogs. More please James S. A. Corey.

A necessary step in the saga
I listened to this as a direct result of finishing the Expanse tv series. I’m certainly going to read the books too! This one was good, I wouldn’t say great, the story is interesting but not anything more than what was captured in Season 6 of the expanse. The story of Xan and the strange dogs is necessary for the overall saga.

Disappointing
absolute rubbish. i have read all the expanse novels and loved most. this was garbage and nothing more than an attempt at making some money. betrayed is how i feel and robbed of my money. story had no point. no meaning. no ending. nothing but verbal excrement.
