About this listen

In this gripping adventure, Laura, a young woman trapped in a recurring year-long cycle (a little like Groundhog Day), meets an older woman living an isolated, hippyish lifestyle on the edge of a field near Stonehenge, England. As their relationship deepens, Margaret, reveals that her husband died in mysterious circumstances years ago. Laura realises that because of the lack of closure, Margaret is still grieving for him. A few years after his death, Margaret's money and savings were stolen, and the culprit disappeared to South Africa.

Laura decides to help Margaret and, when her new annual cycle starts, she begins to research Margaret's husband. A little later, Laura travels to South Africa to search for the person who stole Margaret's money. While in South Africa, Laura has a holiday, starts a relationship, and uncovers an international people, diamond, and drug-smuggling ring. Laura's enemies prove to be as ruthless and as deadly as any she's faced before.

Storm is the second novel in the Tempest series.
