I loved this!
I'm not a Rob Lowe fan but have always admired his work. This book was awesome. Amazing, personal and candid stories and insights about a unique person living a truly unique life.

absolutely loved it!
Loved it have lislistened twice already amd will go again in a few months .
Would have loved more about this west wing however still wonderful read .

Insightful and awesome
What did you like most about Stories I Only Tell My Friends?
I love how he grew up and went to school with what came to be the hollywood elite.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Rob Himself of course. And maybe Martin Sheen
What does Rob Lowe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Its told in his voice which makes it more genuine. And he is a fantastic story teller.

Well worth reading or listening to
This is a beautiful narrated book from a great actor and person in general .. an enjoyable experience into the life and lives of some of Hollywood’s big names

Filled in the gaps
I grew up in the UK, "with Rob" as we are the same age (4 weeks between our birthdays) and I had to suffer the indignity of my now wife (then my girlfriend) having posters of Rob all over her bedroom. Sickeningly good looking and in truth still is. I have been a West Wing fan since Ep 1, watched all 7 seasons numerous times and was saddened when he left after S4. Listening to his book I related, to his struggles and even not knowing these people he described/met/commented on personally, he made me feel connected and his ability to create the voices is a talent. Well done Rob, the book told us where you went in our lives when not on TV or films, stay grounded and thank you.
