About this listen
We can not raise a happy child if we are constantly screaming threats at them. No parent sets out to hurt their child, but this type of parenting does just that. To raise a happy child that wants to behave, you need to retrain yourself first. You need to change the way you think and react to their behavior. You need to understand your triggers and heal yourself. Only then you can begin to heal your relationship with your children.
Making the decision to be a positive parent will benefit your whole family. You will find that your children want to behave and follow your rules. You will be less stressed out by the end of the day. Your house will not feel like a battle zone. Instead, you can create a home full of peace and love for the whole family.
This audiobook will show you why strict and permissive parenting do not work. You will learn just how easy it is to embrace a positive parenting style. While learning how to be a positive parent, you will not only heal the relationship with your children but heal yourself along the way.

not enough explanation
a good overall explanation but not enough explanation on key issues. I was left with more questions on how to achieve being a positive parent.

very good but take with a grain of salt.
A very good listen, a lot of great take aways, but do make sure to think and consider what is best for yourself and your family. I found that there was some really great advice and even listen to the section on my child's developmental stage daily, but there are areas of this that are not very helpful, such as telling you to ignore your child's bad behaviour, this could be detrimental to someone taking this as gospel and not case by case. Recommend for Mums and Dads that struggle with knowing how to react to frustrating behaviour from your children.

Expected way more detail.
This book has some good snippets but not much more than what you can get on socials. No in-depth help or practical examples. Nothing on sibling rivalry. I am not sure what this book cost, I used a credit and wish I went for something a little more in-depth with more tools and examples. It would be a good chapter one to a book with lots more on positive parenting.
