Es gibt indes eine Anzahl von Texten, die schon zu Herrndorfs Lebzeiten den Weg in eine schmale Öffentlichkeit fanden, sei es abgedruckt an entlegenem Ort, sei es durch Lesungen, vor allem aber digital: Herrndorf war Mitglied des Internet-Forums "Wir höflichen Paparazzi". Meist schrieb er hier unter dem Pseudonym "Stimmen". Das vorliegende Hörbuch präsentiert eine Auswahl, Texte, die mal an "In Plüschgewittern" erinnern, mal an "Tschick" oder "Arbeit und Struktur". Nichts findet sich hier, das nur Dokument oder Autorenreliquie wäre; alles ist Literatur.
