Confused at the reason for this book

I was about to see if I could return this title….and then it was over! It’s very short.
I personally didn’t get anything out of it. Mostly it is filled with quotes from other people….proving a point about the subject matter, I guess.
No insights or epiphanies for me but maybe for others? I’m annoyed that I payed for the download instead of a credit and so am ineligible to return.
