About this listen

When Timothy finally found work as a tester for a popular online MMORPG, his lifelong dream was fulfilled. And now, he earns money (and pretty good money, at that) just for doing what he loves - playing a beautiful and realistic computer game. But he isn't some typical run-of-the-mill player, like the millions of others. Timothy is truly capable and talented, and stands out from the crowd. In fact, the faceless masses consider him far too lucky and successful. Many players dislike him for his achievements and hunt him down ruthlessly just because they feel envious or because he looks different. So, what is he to do now that the whole world is against him and his only allies are his beloved sister and a few trusted friends? Make peace? Sink down to their level? Or just fly ever higher on the wings of success? It's all up to Timothy!

Great book

What did you like most about Stay on the Wing?

This is a great lit RPG book. I loved the pirate battles

What other book might you compare Stay on the Wing to, and why?

You could compare this to the path of the Sharman books

Have you listened to any of Eric Michael Summerer’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Just as good as the first book

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did want to do it all in one sitting but I listened to it at work so work went by fast.

Any additional comments?

I don't want to wait for the next one it was really great ending

Just like the first, but on a pirate ship

If you liked the first book you'll enjoy the second. It's got that same popcorn fun feel to it, but gets out of the forest and onto a pirate ship. Sections feel a little like Dan Sugralinov's Disgardium series in a good way, with a Great Hunt for the MC's character that sees him running for his life.

As with the first book, there was a weird side story involving an exotic dancer that I didn't particularly enjoy, but overall, this book was lots of fun.

Starting to have issues

Let me start by saying I'm still enjoying this series, the author is taking it in the right direction. I am starting to have issues with the mc and his relationship with his work and npc wife. He is supposed to be a plot line tester but then the company bends over backwards to please the players and this may be just an issue in terms of the fictional country the mc lives in but it just throws in unnecessary issues. Credit to the author for making it work, as for his npc wife I question the direction the author is going in, for some reason it's just annoying me. Can't quite put my finger on it.
Overall looking forward to the next one.
