What a glorious way to finish the trilogy

I was very happy as I followed the story, Mars being able to confront her dire origins and move forward was something I felt invested in. I also love the way Saskia Maarleveld reads a story, I chose this trilogy because she narrates it. What a stroke of luck!
I really appreciate a story where it is not all rosey blushes of happy-streaked fantasy and real feelings are explored. It’s no trite happily ever after.
If this was a longer book or series I am hooked… Even some random subsequent adventures would be nice? What’s gonna happen with Pale? Can we follow him in another series?
