DI Nikki Galena's close friend Helen Brook is involved in a serious accident where she is trapped in a collapsed cellar. After her hard-won recovery, Helen is still getting flashbacks to a man she says was down there with her and who confessed to a murder. But no trace of this man can be found.
Then Helen tells Nikki that someone is watching her. But is all this in her friend's imagination and part of her post-traumatic stress?
And why is Stephen Cox back in town? He's the villain who tore Nikki's life apart and he seems to have returned to wreak more chaos. Before long, the whole town is on the verge of hysteria and her friend's fear will lead Nikki and Joseph on a very dangerous trail.
Full of twists and turns, this is a crime thriller that will keep you in suspense until its heart-stopping conclusion.

I love this series and enjoy each episode but tend to agree that the narration has not really met the standard of the series. Still going to enjoy the books though.

Excellent
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Many twists and turns in each chapter. Sadly the narration did drive me nuts but because the story was very gripping I sucked it up. You will enjoy this story

I love this series and feel very immersed in the story. Great characters which are very likeable and relatable. I will definitely recommend

Stalker on the Fens
Another fantastic listen!
One of my favourites for sure!
So impressed with the narration, to think one woman can do so many voices so perfectly and distinguishable every single time is such an amazing talent!
A tad concerned that a couple of key players from the past 3 books have been killed off, it will be interesting to see if it can stay as good without them??
Looking forward to the next instalment!

Another gripping Nikki Galena novel!
Helen, a naturopath friend of DI Nikki Galena’s is worried she has a stalker. She isn’t taken too seriously until she winds up dead with a mandala etched into her skin - definitely a pre-meditated murder! Is the killer from Helen’s traumatic past, her missing fiancé, or someone more sinister? Nikki’s team also have to babysit an aggressive young cop with a massive chip on his shoulder. There were PLENTY of moving parts to this plot and I was dying to know who they all fit together. Refreshingly, there’s usually a lot of mutual respect within Nikki’s team - such a contrast from many police procedural series - so it was interesting to see Nikki and the team cope with a sour lemon. It’s not a deal breaker, but if I had one wish, it would be to swap audio narrators - Henrietta Meire is still way too prissy and stilted for this series.

Great book as always.
Loved this as I have loved all of Joy Ellis. Brilliant narration, the voices are flawless and I can't stop listening until the end!

Once again, damn brilliant

Joy Ellis, I adore you.
Having suffered from a Brain Injury, affecting both long and short Memory, I find it difficult to read a Book.
Yet I love the feel and smell of them ! Just cannot remember what I read a page or two, back.
Audible Books opened Literature, once more.
Must admit, I binged listened to Stalker on the Fens !
J.E, you have a knack of drawing me in, and each of your Novels have kept me spellbound, in suspense and a sadness when the book finishes.
Highly recommend this Book.
