About this listen
Three hot leopard shifters? Yes please.
Piper is a librarian at Sacramento State working on her graduate thesis, but her quiet life turns upside down when three hot guys literally crash into her world. They move into her house and her life, telling her she's wanted by a demon and a witch for her pharaoh's blood. She just didn't realize how much they would take over her life in the name of protecting her.
Piper is overwhelmed by the paranormal world and everything in it, including the fact that somehow all three of these guys are her mates. She has two weeks to find a way out of a demon contract and figure out how she's going to deal with all three of these domineering shifters in her life and in her apartment. Will Piper be able to save herself and the pride she's grown attached to before it's too late?
Contains mature themes.

Shifter ménage
Loved it, story line was great and the voices made the story magical. I hope to listen to more from this author

Not the best standalone, but I have loved all Emma Dean’s other council of paranormal books
This was the forth book I read and after starting with the circus stand-alone (which rocked) and then the ‘what the fox’ trio (which I also loved) it made me wonder if it was one of the first written, perhaps before the author developed her skills and lived into her craft a little more. In this standalone things seemed to happen a little fast for the suggested time period - like connections between people and events happening too quickly to resonate with the kind of authenticity that Emma Dean nails in the other books. The back stories, personalities and quirks of the characters are there in all the books I’ve read, along with strong and competent female leads (such a welcome relief from the distraught, distressed, disempowered female) and I really enjoyed discovering that the characters show up across books - in fact, I only listened through to the end of this because Piper and her leopards showed up in a fun way in one of the fox reverse harem books. So, my recommendation would be to enter Emma Dean’s world of the paranormal council books with one of her others and decide if you want to give time to this one after. Hope that’s helpful

Very disappointed
I'm very disappointed in this book. There are so many reviews saying how good it is but I found the first half really really hard to get through and the second half more tolerable. There were random facts and coincidences all through the book as if the author just randomly added things in to make the story what she wanted but it just didn't make sense. Descriptions didn't seem well thought out and the characters didn't have much depth. Not sure I'll read another Emma Dean book
