enthralled throughout

I was hesitant when I started this series - not my usual pick (purely based on the cover, huge cover shopper here). It was one of the best reads I've listened to in a long while. I was captivated and constantly saught time where I could pop my headphones in and disappear into the story. The narrator does a brilliant job, I was able to distinguish the voices of the different characters easily, and the story flowed so well. I'm normally a typical fantasy reader but really really enjoyed getting into the paranormal stuff with this series. I've listened to the first book of the following series - before I realised there was a prequal series. So now I'm even more excited to go back and finish that series off!
