Publisher's Summary

Colonel Joe Bishop made a promise and he's going to keep it; taking the captured alien starship Flying Dutchman back out.

He doesn't agree when the UN decides to send almost 70 elite Special Operations troops, hotshot pilots, and scientists with him; the mission is a fool's errand he doesn't expect to ever return from. At least, this time, the Earth is safe, right?

Not so much.

really enjoying this series...
R.C Bray really brings to life all of the writers characters and makes the whole audio book experience even better.
I usually look for this narrator for this reason....

A great overall story

Would you listen to SpecOps again? Why?

No since I only listen to Audiobooks once

What was one of the most memorable moments of SpecOps?

The overall story arc, the big picture, is intriguing and well written.

Which character – as performed by R.C. Bray – was your favourite?

Skippy

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No

Any additional comments?

The overall story is great. But the author gets bogged down on mundane matters and spends too much time on them. I found myself skipping through the 'Newark' chapters to get back to what's happening with the overall war and find out who is the mystery agent provocateur.

Engaging, entertaining & a good continuation of CD

SpecOps is a fantastic continuation from Columbus, day, there's plenty of story developments not expected, mysteries that are left for the audience to guess at, and the narrator delivery is incredible.
