should have returned!

So many flaws ruined a good plot. Excruciating to listen through this. Won't be returning to this author.

Annoying lack of research by the author

This novel has all of the classic women in a psychological thriller tropes.

The protagonist pops some antidepressants and experiences an instant “relief”. That’s not how antidepressants work.
The protagonist rants and raves illogically and the premise of the story is ridiculous. The first “troubling” situation that comes at the hands of the male landlord in the early chapters is just silly, her reaction to what would be a normal gesture for a landlord is so undeveloped that it’s a jolt to find out how the protagonist perceives his advances.
