About this listen

Clara stood on the shore with a letter in her hand on the Spanish Riviera. The letter was a callous goodbye from her betrothed fiancé who was leaving her. He was breaking off the engagement to marry a richer woman. Clara was devastated and wanted nothing more than to hide at her family's holiday villa in Spain. She wanted to keep away from the London gossip that waited for her on her return. She spent her time riding in area with beautiful sea views, but she was not expecting to run into a mysterious Spaniard who would come to ruin her life even more than the London gossip would. After giving her maidenhood to him, she finds out that he is engaged. Clara has had enough of men, until she finds out that giving herself so freely to the Spaniard has resulted in the biggest consequence of all. She's pregnant.
