SciFi with a touch of intrigue

I'm just going to say this because it needs to be understood - you can't make the English accent both alluring and hot. One, maybe, but not booth - it just doesn't have that inflection. This is my only gripe as far as performance goes because I'm usually glad for Faye Bishop's performance but call it the material or just her try this time but the female co-MC lacks the gravitas to be entirely interesting.

Story wise there's a lot there. A creeping progression of what looks like a future problem is there in the SciFi element but it's very subtle and I suspect if it becomes a thing it'll have been done well because the cautionary signs have been thrown out there to signal it so you hope it comes to something.

But who the hell looks at 3 people - and you have the drop on them from behind no less - WHO decides to shoot one then just stop? That is the dumbest move someone can do. If you have a firearm and you have the drop on 3 people from behind then you have the opportunity to end that very fight VERY quickly. But nope. It's just so dumb I had to stop the audible and just rant about it before continuing.

Otherwise, pretty good and there's worse out there.
