After chewing through the Horus Heresy this last 12monts, following the adventures of the Sisyphuleum and its crew have been one of the gems of the series. Listening to this knowing it was the end was hard, but in a good way. Graham McNeill has written a great story that keeps you engaged and on edge as it brings this story to a conclusion. As heart wrenching as it is he does justice for the this rag tag crew from the shattered legions. Johnathan Keeble is on point with his narrative as always. A strong recommendation from me.

I enjoyed the book in the end, though struggle at the start understanding who was who and would have been better if a little more development on the characters.

Performance as always by Jonathan Keeble was outstanding.

This title, while short, is one of the most meaningful stories in 40k. The character involved are written to perfection, and the story runs at a great pace.

This, to me, is what 40k is about. The strength of humanity, even when differences between us show. The ability to push on, to never give up, to always see the task through.

graham McNeil strikes again with his stupid, league of ledgends style silly, scooby gang rubbish.

people say nick kyme is the worst horus heresy writer, but McNeil makes nick look like abnett in comparison. from fulgrm to this book, McNeil has repeatedly displayed his utter lack of understanding the horus heresy. continual lore breaks, setting breaks, and lame, cliche characters, his stories simply don't fit in the series. he should of just stuck to league of ledgends. he doesn't understand grimdark
