Good, but I think I just can't do romances
Usually steer away from romances but as a big Joni Mitchell fan I thought I'd read it as a pallet cleanser. I devoured the first 75% but struggled through the end. Loved the rock n roll stuff, struggled with the clishe will they won't they love stuff... but maybe I'm just dead inside

I loved this more than Daisy Jones
This book surpassed my expectations. It is loosely based on the love affair between Joni Mitchell and James Taylor and the author certainly knows how to take the reader on a ride through that time. Once I got started on this book I couldn't stop. It stirred many emotions within me. I laughed, I cried and I fell in love with the characters. I look forward to reading more of Emma's books.

Nostalgic...
One of those books you know will make a great movie. I loved this story which reminded me a lot of Daisy Jones & the Six. It has a nostalgic feel, set in the 60s and 70s, and ending in current time, it keeps you guessing who is might be based on. Great characters, storyline and song lyrics you'll wish you could actually hear. I love the scene visuals too which came to life in every chapter. Great narration! Perfect voice for this book.
