I thoroughly enjoyed this wild ride!
Liam Lansing and Daniel Harding are on the run. They have uncovered massive plans to extort and exploit the vampire population by the bio-modification tech companies and Daniel’s ruthless father, Robert Harding, head of the Cybernetix Corporation, will stop at nothing to terminate them both. However, to bring the biotechs down, they’ll need to break in and steal evidence. Should Liam and Daniel risk their own safety for the very people who shunned them for falling in love, especially when they’ve only just reunited? This sequel was a rip-roaring action adventure romance, blending paranormal and sci-fi genres. Whereas A Chip in His Shoulder was told from Liam’s POV, this story is told from Daniel’s. It’s much satisfyingly longer than the first book and fills in a lot more detail. There’s a LOT of action and the romance is snatched in a few of the quieter moments - I didn’t mind the imbalance at all. In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole wild ride! Audio narrator Nick J Russo did his usual excellent best!
