She simply enjoys his company as they listen to carolers on Christmas Eve, walk home from church together on Christmas morning, and engage in a spirited snowball fight in the afternoon.

They return to London the following Season, both committed to finding other more suitable matches. Still, they agree to share one waltz at each ball they attend. Sigh!
I was really looking forward to Elizabeth's story, and I was not disappointed. A sweet, gentle tale with a fair sprinkling of humor. Mary Balogh has done it again!

Best novel from Mary Balogh yet
I love finding out which of the characters the author will marry off this time. The chosen pair in this book have so much chemistry. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this with the exceptional Rosalyn Landor narrating.
