Publisher's Summary
One of the greatest challenges facing business owners globally is that they simply don't charge enough for what they do. And this leads to all kinds of nasty problems. There has never been a better time to put an end to this self-destructive business practice once and for all.
Someone Has To Be The Most Expensive, Why Not Make It You? is the culmination of Andrew Griffiths' thirty-five-year entrepreneurial journey. This has seen him travel the world as an international bestselling author, global speaker and commentator, working with business owners in every corner of the planet to help them create enterprises of substance and significance.
If you're sick of not charging enough for what you do, of not having any money in the bank, of feeling the exhaustion of working incredibly hard but not getting where you want to go, then this is, without a doubt, the book you need to listen to—now.
Written specifically for business owners to inspire and to provide practical advice at the same time, this book has a number of very clear outcomes:
- putting an end to the business owner struggle around money
- challenging your thinking about what you charge and how you charge it
- showing why being the cheapest is, without a doubt, the worst business strategy ever
- explaining why there has never been a better time to charge what you're worth
- give you the courage to become the best and most expensive at what you do.
- provide a clear process to follow to help you start charging more for what you do.
This is a concept that works, regardless of the economic conditions, the industry you may be in or your geographic location. Someone has to be the most expensive, why not make it you? But if you're going to be most expensive, you have to be the best. It really is as simple and as complicated as that.

What a powerful book!
This book really opens your eyes to the big and small parts of your business that can and should be changed and improved. I loved the anecdotes and sense of humour!
Andrew left no stone unturned and made complex seem less daunting. Best of all you can start at any point and tackle the parts of the business that need attention first. I greatly enjoyed this book and excited to implement what Andrew discussed.

It challenges, inspires, and sparks action
Many of us have a long list of reasons why we can’t be the most expensive, or why we don’t want to be. I certainly did before reading this book, but Andrew’s vision drew me in.
Andrew talks about business owners who understand their own value, think creatively, work with passion and feel proud of what they do. And he talks about clients and customers who receive top-quality products and services, memorable experiences and outstanding value for their money. The amount of money that goes around is significant, but in this economy everybody wins.
I’ve learned that achieving all this is simple but not easy. However, Andrew’s warm and empathic, non-judgemental voice encouraged me to challenge my preconceptions and to rethink old habits. After hearing Andrew sharing his experiences – highs and lows – so openly, I also started to trust my own instincts more. With the help of this book, I feel I’m finding my spark.

Really makes you think
I honestly didn't think I had a lot of issues in this area - until listening to this book - Andrew is a master storyteller and you really do feel like you're sitting down having a conversation with him (*especially if you're listening to the audio book version). His stories, demonstrations and real life anecdotes really bring the concepts to life - and have completely changed the way I think about what I do and how I charge - thanks Andrew, massive perspective shift!

Be the Best!
I loved this audiobook. I’ve now listened to it several times on my long commute. The focus is on being the best at what you do. When you’re the best, you have the confidence and courage to charge a premium because you add great value to your clients, and the clients you attract in turn recognise that value.

A smart, practical, must-listen nugget of gold
In this audiobook, AG does an excellent job of tackling what I think is one of the most misunderstood, underrated topics in business.
He uses great storytelling to communicate the importance of "being the best" if you want to charge like the best. Tonnes of simple, relatable advice and minimal fluff. Super helpful for those of us who struggle to justify charging what we're worth.
A smart, practical, must-listen nugget of gold. Do yourself a favour and plug this one into your ears now!
