Tack on his continuous flirting and his polished good looks, and I'm caught staring down the barrel of a seductive temptation that makes it hard for me to sleep at night.
But guess who can control herself? This girl.
Because if there is one thing I know for certain, it's that JP Cane and I are so not meant to be.

This book was captivating, with a mixture of sweet and laugh out loud funny & everything a good romance book should be. I could not put the book down from start to finish!! Loved it!!

Good read
Very good read. Made me laugh, laugh and laugh. I think it’s important to read a few other Megan Quinn books before reading this one as they speak about characters from the other books often in this one. Ensure that you definitely read not so meet cute before this one

So Enjoyable
Such a sweet & funny story. The awkward events in the penthouse had me snort laughing!
I especially loved the catch up snippets with all the couples from Meghan’s previous books through Kelsey’s podcast.
Narrated beautifully duet style. Really worked fabulously. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hard to finish
I’m down to the last 2 hours of the story and I have zero motivation to finish it. Is it because I know they’ll get it together and live that saccharine sweet life at the end of it like every other romance book does? Possibly. I could also just be over the generic romance books that authors churn out so quickly these days and it took this book for me to realise that.
Tbh it’s a really long story that doesn’t really have that much content. Both protagonists annoyed the hell out of me.
The best thing about this book is that it was an actual duet! No female/male voice (cringingly) trying to emulate the opposite sex in their given chapters. It is exactly how a book should be read and made listening to it soooo much better.

Favourite romance
The pull and push and transformation of the main character is amazing. I loved the plot, the chemistry and cheeky banter. So many LOL moments!
The voice overs were absolutely fantastic and made this book.
