About this listen
Psycho meets The Silence of the Lambs
“A taut, thrilling mystery.” --Dominic Nolan, author of Past Life
From the Amazon Charts bestselling author of Blood for Blood, perfect for fans of James Patterson, Lee Child and Thomas Harris.
A serial killer is terrorising London, removing a body part from each victim and leaving in its place a single pink rose.
Dr Vernon Sange, a multiple murderer awaiting extradition, seems to know the culprit’s identity - but he’ll only talk to profiler Ziba MacKenzie, the woman responsible for putting him away. Though there’s something he wants in return from her. And time is running out.
With one killer whispering in her ear and another running rings around the police, Ziba must play a game in which only her opponent knows the rules, and the forfeit is death.

Frustrating
Although I enjoyed the first two books of this series I found this one a bit hard the stick with to the end . My major issue was the the main character kept making the same mistakes over and over and therefore the premise that she is very good at her job, is continuously hard to believe. She come across in this book as not very good at her job. Falling for the serial killers ‘games’ an beating her self up about this again and again and again. The story line around Jack and her feeble attempt to keep him safe felt fabricated and false logic that made little sense.
Hoping the next book in the series see her rise the the Occassion.

I was fooled by the hype about the Ziba series
The reader did a good read dispite a very staccato story line that was so difficult to follow. l had to give the book 6 attempts to finally finish the book.
Again I say again - good fiction must be believable and this outing is far from this - please find another series do not waste time or money on this series
